It's a great product, the app might be slightly less user-friendly than the top selling bluetooth Obii scanner, but that's understandable considering it has tons more features. Have tested it on a 2022 Genesis and it reads all modules. Easy to connect to as long as you have bluetooth on and are in the app it doesn't have any issues. Real time data display is quick and accurate, used it to monitor a faulty speed sensor and it transmitted the info nice and fast. Better priced and a better product than the top selling brand, great for a d.i.y.er and also has some neat tools for a shop technician.

The TOPSCAN Pro scanner is so much more than a "code reader". It allows you to really troubleshoot, with vehicle specific capabilities and bi-directional communication to exercise specific systems, all for about what you'd pay for a mid-level code reader. It's much smaller and easier to connect and use that my "Launch" scanner, so it's quickly becoming my "first step"in diagnostic work.

As for a scan tool, it's tough go to wrong with the TopDon TopScan pro. The TopDon coverage for GM vehicle is usually excellent. HVAC scan data and bidirectional controls will be there, as well. As long as you have a smartphone, it's an incredible value at $99.
