30+ hot reset functions Power by Autel, smaller but smarter Bi-directional control same as MS906BT OE Level diagnostics, same as Autel MP808/DS808/MS906
This scanner is a pro-grade tool at a consumer-grade price. After using it for a few days at our dealership, it’s been able to do everything we’ve asked of it. The first car I threw at it was a V10 Audi S6 that was having throttle body synchronization issues, 2 of our current scanners couldn’t do anything for it. The D1 did a throttle body sync and relearn procedure and it worked on the first attempt. That particular car was an excellent litmus test for the tool because it has two ECU’s (one for each bank) and tends to “hang up” other scanners. The user interface is all Autel, and that’s a great thing because in my opinion they make the most intuitive and simple to learn software in the business. I was leery about the Bluetooth OBD dongle, but it connects automatically to the tool and seems to transfer data quickly, and not being tethered to the car is awesome. The screen great, exactly like a smartphone capacitive touch. If you need a full function bi-directional scan tool on a budget, the Otofix D1 is an excellent choice.

I've used a bunch of other scan tools and I think my favorite part about this scan tool is the size. It's light weight, compact, easy to use, and overall a great tool. It's a tiny bit slower than the full size Autel scan tool, but the cost and size of this tool is just right. I would easily recommend this to any DIY or professional technician looking for a quick, fully functioning (bidirectional controls and maintenance resets) scan tool.

I was looking for a scan tool that is under the $1000 range that has some functions higher than the other mid level scan tools. I believe I found it, been using this scan tool for a few weeks and I want to say that this is officially my go to. It's light, has a lot of service resets, touchscreen, fast boot up and the list goes on but I have two cons that stood out that isn't a deal breaker: No kick stand and the battery life could be better. Other than that, the OTOFIX D1 is a great tool for DIYers and professionals in the automotive field. I do like how small it is in size and gets the job done.

Its built by Autel.
I have D1 model for 5 months now and its like mp808 but with few better things, really nice design and build quality.
It has bi directional control and audi, vw, skoda online coding while with every other brand you can still do basic offline coding depending on car and equipment.
I mainly work on european cars and its fine for me, live data, full system diagnosis and you can code keys on older cars.
