Toyota vehicles prior to 2009 are equipped with a Tire Pressure Warming Reset that can be used for initialization. When the bottom is pushed and held for more than 3 seconds, the vehicles receivers are open and looking for the currently stored TPMS IDS.
What if there is a missing or broken sensor?
What if there are new sensors on the vehicle that haven’t yet been programmed?
This will cause these vehicles to become stuck in a loop, searching for TPMS IDS that are no longer there.
N2 USA has developed the Toyota Loop Reset tool to hands this issue.
VXSCAN OEM 2006-2016 Ford TPMS Training Tool Activation tool (8C2Z 1A203-A) is used by Ford to train the TPMS sensors on new vehicles or after a tire rotation. Use this tool to train OEM sensors so the TPMS warning light is not illuminated.
