- For $500 you can get a pretty good unit. I paid less than $80 for an Autel AL519. The thing I like about it has real time monitors, so I can see temp, fuel inj, voltages, O2 sensors, etc. It also gets and resets codes. So far I've used it on about 15 cars from 2000 up to 2019 Chevrolet Corvette, and it's done fine. Had a little trouble comm with the Mini Cooper, but after fiddling with it a bit I figured out how to make it work.
