I have been using Autel Scanner MD802 Maxidiag and its diagnostics is really good and detailed, it has ABS, SRS, EPB and live data.

Just a helpful note for new Autel MD 802 users .

When you get the Autel unit there is a 4 gig SD chip in the side .
If like myself you decide to copy the SD card's data to a back up folder and get the message " file name to large to copy " there is a easy work around

Just save the SD contents as a compressed zipped file . Then copy the zipped file to a back up folder .

If you want to make a back up SD just copy the the zipped file to the new SD card and then unzip the files contents into the new SD chip.

Once the new files have been unzipped or "extracted" to the new SD there will still be the original zipped file on the new SD. You will need to erase the original zipped file from the new SD card.

Note ! the unzipping of the files contents onto the SD card may take a while. Mine took approx 30-45 minutes as the bottle neck is at the USB port.

Hands down the best for the money , works awesome with both Ford and Chevy diesels was surprised on how well it works on late model Mercedes . Would recommend to any one .

The tool arrived in good order. Nice box to keep it in as well. The tool is solidly made.
The tool does NOT support Apple computers. You will need a Windows PC to update.
The first thing you need to do is update the unit to the newest software releases. This is done online. In order to update, you must first register your product. You can follow the user manual to do that.
