I have done several bmw with autel elite. Many f chassis with great success.

I received a captcha code on Saturday and have got the device working. I tried it on a couple of cars it worked OK. Let's hope I will now be happy with my scan tool. Thanks Stephen

Can Autel maxisys elite do coding of used Bmw dme, i.e reads isn from dme and write to cas/fem?.
i weighing option of getting tool.

It rapidly performs every job from comprehensive vehicle diagnostics & analysis to advanced ECU programming. Support more than 80 US domestic, Asian and European makes and models. Moreover, Maxisys Elite has a lot of special functions. Thta's really great product for the price.

I just received it, the packing is very strong. When I open the carry case, I found full set cable, that's good. I was able to reprogram my 2010 accord tpms , and my throttle position. No any scanner tool has 100% coverage on all vehicles but I have to honestly say it has great coverage for american, european and asian vehicles. Easy to install and very accurate.

I've used the ds708 and it was great on my s55 I'm now using the maxisys elite and its excellent both have served all my needs. Mb star sds which I haven't had an opportunity to use to be able to compare but I haven't come across anything the elite won't do that sds will.

I have Autel Maxiflash & it has worked so far on Toyota, Honda, GM, VW, Mercedes & Ford FJDS. There are many good J2534 devices available that will do the same job, this one was included with the tablet I bought.

I have the Autel MaxiSys Elite package. The J2534 VCI that is included has not presented any issues so far. With current subscription, you can update the vehicle database files, you can program and code BMW and Benz directly from the tablet, and you will want to backup the software before your subscription expires. It is expensive to renew.

When it expires, you can't update the vehicle database or do the coding and programming from the tablet anymore. You can still use the tool after expiration and any rumors you hear that Autel locks you out of the tool are false.

The MK908P has Level 5 vehicle security access whereas the MaxiSys Elite has a Level 2 access, whatever that means. The Elite can do things the MK908P can't and vice-versa. Autel made it a point to not give any one tool full capabilities. You would need to own both tools in order to get the most out of Autel.

From a business standpoint, this is great!

From a CONsumer perspective, this means spending more $$$, but having a nice set of technical tools to work with.

I purchased the Autel MaxiSys Elite almost a year ago. It can program BMW and Mercedes Benz from the tablet, but it can not program GM modules because the software to program GM runs on Windows, not Android. However, you can use the Autel J-Box for your VCI and connect it to a Windows based PC using a USB cable and log on to the GM website for programming. The reason I bought it was for the BMW and Mercedes market - I have heard from many sources that it works very good with the German cars.

Will autel be releasing any updates to online reprogram any new brand like bmw and Mercedes i do have maxisys elite and i love how it does bmw and Mercedes but all the others one i need to use j2534 and pay extra
