FVDI Opel Reset Opel Cosra C ECU Guide

Guide to reset ECU on a Opel Cosra C by using FVDI commander for Opel/Vauxhall (which now update to second generation FVDI2).

Procedure:

Step 1: Read security code

Connect FVDI commander with vehicle

Open FVDI Opel software

Select Opel->Software version 5.8

Connecting to interface

select Special Function->Read security code

Select vehicle model: Corsa C and unit: Engine Z12XEP

Read security code success

Step 2: Reset ECU

Select Engine Control Module

FVDI Opel identify ecu information

Select Reset Engine and confirm

FVDI will require to enter 4-digit code to access

Enter security code read from step 1 and confirm

Security code reset.

Select Security Access->Identification

Then select Reset Engine and enter 4-digit code again

Close current interface.

Select Engine Control Module->Data Display

Reset Opel ECU by FVDI successfully.
