All 2018 Fiat,Chrysler, Alfa vehicles are equipped with SGW security gateway modules to prevent access to the vehicle from the OBD2 port via a non-original diagnostic scanner. The purpose of this module is to prevent attacks on the vehicle network via the CAN BUS.
Compatible with X300 DP/ X300 DP Plus/ X300 PRO4/ Odo Master/ X200 PRO2 and other programmers (Autel, Launch X431 etc)

How to use FCA Adapter?

1. To locate and unplug the 12PIN and 8PIN connectors of the SGW module,
2. To connect the FCA 12+8 universal adapter directly to the 12PIN and 8PIN connector on the car (two connectors connected to the SGW).
At this point, normal communication with the car can be achieved.
