Genius K-touch OBD2 ECU tuning tool software installation
Here is the instruction on installing new Genius & Flash Point OBDII/BOOT ECU tuning tool software.
Operating system: Windows XP
Supported Multi-languages: English, Italian, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Hungarian
(Add Hungarian comparing KESS V2)
Installation
Note: Please disconnect network connection when installing and using K-touch!!!
Step 1: Install K-touch Setup
Open My Computer
Open K-TOUCH software CD
Open K-TOUCH-E folder
Open Abode Reader 9
Accept license agreement
Read the K-touch user manual first
Open and install K-touch Setup
Click Next
Click Install
Select setup language
Click OK
Press Next
Setup wizard installation completed
Restart the computer
Your computer needs to be restarted before Race EVO Setup 1…
Click OK
Step 2: Register & Activate K-touch
Open CD software
Open K-TOUCH-E folder
Open K-touch Setup
Install setup wizard again followed the same procedure above
Click Next
Click Install
Select setup language
Click Next
This time to install Race EVO Setup 1
Click Next
Click Next
The next program will requires user to enter User Registration code (leave others blank)
Open the Adobe read me file again
Copy C7535 and paste it to Dimensione Sport Customer code column
Click Next
Click Next
Click Next
Race EVO setup is well installed
Remove the tick “Run Race EVO (rev.431 build 829) Setup 1 now”
Click Finish
Complete install K-touch setup
Click Finish
Step 3: Connect Genious ecu tuning tool with computer
Tips
- Connect Genious OBD2 ECU programmer with power adapter, then wait until the machine boot. If the machine cannot boot, please turn off power then connect to power again. Wait until machine boot.
- Connect the K-touch programmer with computer/laptop via USB cable, then start to read K-touch data
After well connected the machine
Install hardware wizard
Select “Install the software automatically (Recommended)”
Click Next
The wizard has finish installing the software for DimSport-New Genius Device
Click Finish
Open My Computer->Manager->Device Manager->Universal Serial Bus controllers-> DimSport-New Genius Device to make sure the ECU programmer is well connected with computer.
Step 4: Read & write K-touch data
Open K-touch software on desktop
Click “Accept definitely” to accept software license
If the system pops up “Please update database in Internet and enable technical features (this procedure must be completed within 3 days 333)” message, click NO to proceed
Click K-Touch tab->Explore
If the system prompts “GENIUS is not updated”, click OK
Explore to FILE folder
Open Read folder
Save 000 file to desktop
Extract header, click Yes
Back to Genius:\FILE, open Write folder
Click Import icon
Select Import file, click OK
Import the file “000” just saved on desktop
Read and write ktouch data completed. You can check the device information.
Back to Genius folder
Click Help tab->System information to check files with date, time and version
Click Help-> Information about…to check Genius K-touch device information
