Kess V2 V5.017 Read and Write Toyota Yaris 2NZ-FE

Have something about KESS V2 5.017 i wanna share with all.

About my package KESS V2 v5.017:

It’s a china clone with a green board. I put it here

About KESS V2 5.017 software:

Kess 5.017 came with Ksuite 2.23 software (a CD), saying Windows XP is the best operation to run on. And i did.

I opened KSuite 2.23 (E:), ran “ksuite_222_v2” exe.

Ran the setup application

Then Next, Next… to install

I accepted Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 License Terms, and setup in English

Finished installation!

Then, i can run the software to setup ksuite language

Important!!! replaced all files in C:/Ksuite 2.23 with E:/Ksuite 2.23

Then, i installed software for USB device and checked in Computer management

Here is all i did for kess 5.017 installation.

Then i can use it for ECU tuning.

About Kess V2 V5.017 master clone tuning experience:

My car is 2007 Toyota Vitz (P9x), with ECU: 2NZ-FE

Kess V5.017 working with 2007 Toyota Vitz (P9x)

Began to write Toyota Yaris 2NZ-FE

So, Kess v2 fw 5.017 has written my Yaris 2NZ-FE successfully

Here is something i have confirmed. Maybe helpful to someone.

1. it’s working with original database on Win7 Win8 (not only XP)
   2. Fully activated: all protocols available: EDC17 / k-line / DSG / DQ200 DQ250 DQ500 Gearbox / ST10 …., no gray buttons!!!!
2. 3. can work with the 2016 model;
3. i compared it with kess 4.03: kess 5.017 adds 140+ vehicle types; can support car/truck/tractor/bikes (version kess v2 v4.036 supports cars only)

It’s nice when it works.
