The converter can be used with X300 DP/ X300 DP Plus/ X300 PRO4/ Odo Master/ X200 PRO2 and other programmers (Autel, Launch X431 etc) to program keys, correct mileage or oil reset via OBD II for 2018 and up FIAT/ CHRYSLER/ ALFA ROMEO vehicles.
OBDSTAR FCA 12+8 Bypass Cable for 2018- Chrysler Fiat Introduction:
All FCA (FIAT/CHRYSLER/ALFA ROMEO)vehicles after 2018 are equipped with SGW security gateway module to prevent attacks on the vehicle network via the CAN bus. Directly plug in the OBD II-16 connector cannot communicate with the vehicles because SGW security gateway module can block the access to the vehicle's OBD2 port from non-original diagnoses. To solve this problem, you can connect to the 12PIN and 8PIN connections on the car via this FCA 12 + 8 cable to get normal communication with the car.
The converter can be used with X300 DP/ X300 DP Plus/ X300 PRO4/ Odo Master/ X200 PRO2 and other programmers (Autel, Launch X431 etc) to program keys, correct mileage or oil reset via OBD II for 2018 and up FIAT/ CHRYSLER/ ALFA ROMEO vehicles.
OBDSTAR 12+8 Adapter Function:
OBD cluster calibration, OBD key programming, oil/service reset; also can be used with other diagnostic equpments for reading code and clearing code etc.

How to use FCA Adapter?
1. To locate and unplug the 12PIN and 8PIN connectors of the SGW module,
2. To connect the FCA 12+8 universal adapter directly to the 12PIN and 8PIN connector on the car (two connectors connected to the SGW).
At this point, normal communication with the car can be achieved.
