This works great for code and service reset

I have used my Autel MaxiAP AP200 on a Porsche 981, 991.2 and 718, using just the free initial download (Porsche software). It will scan and read all systems for faults and will create a written PDF file for your records, prior to resetting the faults. Worked great on my 718 when I have the PPF installed and they disconnected my battery, as the car threw up faults in just about every system that needed to be reset. The one item that is not in the Porsche software is the ABS Brake Controller Fluid Bleed. Yet it does every other DIY service I have needed. Plus I like that it works without the need for a Windows PC or Apple computer. Works off my Phone or Table. For a versatile lower cost OBD II Reader/Reset Tool with some good Service Functionality, the Autel MaxiAP AP200 is worth investigating.

I have it for a little over a year now. It can scan/reset all modules and reset maintenance service. No coding. Good if you only need to use it for a brand or two but the costs of additional brands add up and I don't think it would be worth it if you bought all the brands individually.

I’ve had mine for about a year and so far does what I want. I bought it should. I ever get into a problem and want to have a scan tool. Fortunately, that hasn’t happened yet. I do use it for resetting the oil and other service intervals though. Wish I had real coding tool, but I’d probably get into trouble with it anyhow.

I've used mine successfully when replacing the battery but not touched the brakes....and there is free lifetime support once you've selected your 'manufacturer', no ongoing fees. Its a great little tool packed with functions, Id be amazed if there is a comparable tool for less money.

Tried the Autel HT200 (AP200) OBD scanner that friends were raving about. I changed my oil and managed to do the oil service reset to 12499 miles (1 year). Need to download 2 free Apps and toy with it a bit but works ok. You get one vehicle free life time and pay $21.99 for 2nd vehicle. It covers most cars including Maserati, Aston, Porsche, Ferrari, Lambo, Bentley, Bugatti but not Pagani and Rolls. It works on bluetooth Iphone or Android and gives lots of info like battery voltage, etc and other stuff that I have no interest.

Discovered the AP200 actually speaks all Aston Martin too:cool: - its a question of having to manually select the VIN then it works. Busy speaking to Autel to get that sorted. The MX808, however, no such luck - but I am sure once I am done bemoaning the fact at Autel it will get sorted - they had a real quick response to my service request and new case logged. yet again if you need to speak to some funky vehicle brand, more than likely the AP200 will get you communicating - so far the best tool I ever spent money on

Autel AP200 bluetooth dongle has arrived. Does everything the tablets do thru your phone, except relearning tpms sensors I work on cars and own 3 of the Autel tablets. The main difference besides the obvious display size, is the dongle only enables one brand with a payment of 34 dollars to activate each other brand. Pretty good option for the home guy though. I will buy one just to have the Dongle in the car. It also isnt vin Locked, so it will work on every Mercedes.

The AP200 is a cracking wee tool, and great value for money. the little AP200 does indeed tell you the clutch wear percentage. Also includes the wear index, plus loads of other data.

I purchased the Autel AP200 all systems bluetooth scanner and can confirm that it works with the Honda civic.

I have an Autell MaxiAP200. It comes with its own phone app. And connects through Blue Tooth. Included with the ALDL adaptor is Your choice of vehicle brand. I got the one for GM and it covers everything that is GM OBD2. It has a lot of capabilities for resets including tire monitoring systems and way more than I can remember. I think the adaptor was around 65 bucks. I have a 2000 Chevy K3500 with the 6.5 diesel and this system covers every sensor and function that the trucks computer is capable of, including injector timing and timing off set, which there are few OBD scanners that can pick that up.

Autel MaxiAP AP200 is a very nice choice with a lot of capabilities, so you can enjoy it. Cheap and simple devices often can't do this.

So far this application looks interesting, having some bi-directional control will be an added plus for a working technician. Keeping logs and records hopefully can be saved, shared and stored on an SDCard for future use. The graphing feature seems to work BUT the choice of at least a dual graph or paged full screen graph in landscape mode will offer a very clear image for detailed diagnosis.
