I own a Pad V and the vci that comes with it is an J2534 interface. Used it multiple times for programming and diagnostic with OE suftware

PAD 7 should have Native Programming for BMW, Benz, VAG and many more. Also it should come with 3 years updates. Personally I say save some money and buy the PAD V Elite. It does everything the same but only a 10" screen instead of the 13".
Also you can save money by buying the MS909 over the Ultra lite as again it does that same thing but smaller screen.
personally I perfer Autel's user interface over Launch but Launch does have a better value proposition.
