Ducati Motorcycle key programming Ducati Motorcycle diagnostic and service function Control module programming and coding, ECU setting, instrument coding, tire pressure monitoring system
The ODBSTAR iscan tablet works amazingly well. Mine just came in and all 3 of my bikes were displaying the annual service reminder, which was pretty annoying. I managed to reset the warning on all three. so no more red warning messages.

Had mine since 2023. It works exceptionally well. Be sure to renew your update subscription before it expires. It's cheaper.

Just wanted to share this. I purchased the OBDSTAR over a year ago for my ‘23 Desert X. I liked the DX so much I sprung for a MTS Rally last September; I was pleasantly surprised to find I have all the same functionality with the Multi that I do with the DX - service light reset, activation of options etc.

I updated and tested it today; BBS > Special Function > Optional Configuration has everything listed. I deactivated and reactivated my heated grips successfully

I just received my new OBDSTARS device and hooked it up to my bike. It shows the Headed Grips in the menu, had to search all over for it but it is listed now. I have the heated grips but haven't installed them yet. Hoping to get to that in the next few weeks, then I'll find out if the setting really works to activate them.

Bought the Obdstar and it did the trick.
Successfully cleared the service reminders for 2022 supersport 950s.

I just got my iscan in today. I was able to turn on heated grips ($80 at dealership), program a second key ($120 at dealership) and permanently disable annual service reminder and reset Desmo service. I also bought a termignoni off eBay and was able to shut off the butterfly valve CEU. I have a 2022 XDiavel S. Great device.

Quite a large number of people on the Ducati forums have OBDStar's and the general consensus is very good. I did own one myself.
With Ducati the units can program keys, read and clear trouble codes and test things like fans, injectors and so on.
I agree that they are a little pricey especially for single brand units, they do make multi-brand ones more aimed at workshop use but the price of these is getting up there (though nowhere near as expensive as Texa).

I have the OBDstar and the cable. It connects and communicates. The tool is great.

I have a OBDStar iScan I just picked up with intent of clearing annual service reminders. I like to do the work myself and the annual services appears to be pretty straight forward on my bike, '22 Duc Multistrada V4S.

The device is great in that I can reset all services, plus monitor/record active data, and run the active tests on fans, fuel pump, coils, injectors, QS, etc. It’s the closest you can get to the actual Ducati IDS functionality, EXCEPT ECU flashing/tuning.
