OBDStar iscan tool seems the most affordable option and not just a basic reader. It can also diag/read/write the EC2.
I have turned off the service wrench, added a key, cycled the ABS unit for a brake bleed and relearned the exhaust valve open and closed points after adjusting the cable. I also have read Aprilia specific (not OBDII code) errors that were stored in memory after replacing the fuel level sender.
It can't apply a ecu map, but it can do pretty much everything else fault diagnosis and clear, service spanner clear etc
Its not the only option but cheapest one in class by a good bit. The others are geared more to shops just like the high-end OBD tablets for cars/trucks.
