Took the chance and tried it and figured out it can be done and bypassed pin with key tool max pro. Tested on a 2021 Nissan Rogue prox.

I just did 1 2024 nissan rogue and 1 2024 nissan pathfinder. Both I used the cable to add key, no problems works great. For all keys lost I use APB131 and Autel.

I have used a version of it with a IM508 on both Nissan and Mitsubishi. Yes it works.

Used it on a 2023 mitsi outlander. Used autel to program key though
