LAUNCH X-431 ADAS Radar 3-in-1 ACC+Doppler+Corner Reflector Calibration Set Add-On (HW+SW)
Introduction:
The Launch Tech Radar 3-in-1 Calibration Set is a specialized tool designed for precise radar-based ADAS calibrations in modern vehicles. This set facilitates accurate calibrations for systems such as Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM), Lane Change Assist (LCA), and Front Corner Radar (FCR) across a wide range of European, Asian, and North American vehicles.
The X-431 ADAS RADAR 3-in-1 tool is a passenger vehicle ADAS calibration device designed for radar system calibration. It supports calibration of adaptive cruise control systems, blind spot monitoring systems, and front corner radar systems.

Under what circumstances is calibration required?
Repairing or replacing a sensor control unit (e.g., replacing an ACC radar)
The sensor deviation angle exceeds the normal range (incorrect installation position/angle)
Moving the position of a sensor on the vehicle body (sensor position changes)
Repairing or replacing parts that secure the front sensor (e.g., replacing the bumper)
Adjusting the chassis
Two types of calibration: Dynamic Calibration & Static Calibration
Dynamic calibration requires test driving on straight roads with clear lane markings at a specific speed.
Static calibration refers to the process of completing calibration in a standard workshop environment using a calibration frame and target patterns. Static calibration requires portable ADAS calibration equipment and calibration software in the diagnostic device.
Before performing the calibration steps using the calibration tool, please ensure the following conditions are met:
The vehicle’s sensor area must not be damaged.
The bracket holding the sensor must not be deformed.
Check the tire pressure and correct it to the recommended value if necessary.
Apply the parking brake and close the doors.
Ensure the vehicle’s coolant and oil levels are within the recommended range, and the fuel tank is full. The vehicle should not carry any items (passengers or cargo).
Connect the VCI to the vehicle and ensure that all systems except those related to ADAS are free of fault codes.
Follow the equipment step‑by‑step instructions and use the correct target and its distance parameters.
Calibration Area Conditions:
1. The work area surface must be flat, with sufficient space around the vehicle to complete the calibration procedure. (Recommended work area size: 5m x 9m)
2. There must be no large obstacles within the work area.
3. No external light source should cast uneven shadows on the target surface.
4. No strong light source should shine directly onto the front camera area.
5. No strong wind should cause the target to sway.
